About Us
The RCCG Jesus House Nairobi campus was founded in 2013 by then Assistant General Overseer of the mission, Pastor Peter Ona Amenkhienan. Former Jesus House Nairobi pastor, Sesan Cheso Banjo, was then ordained to pastor the church. In 2021, the church was left under the care of an able leader, Pastor Apollos Nwafor, who pastors the church to date. Over the years, Jesus House Nairobi Campus has grown into an evangelistic mission, leading at the forefront in the race to win souls for Christ. The objective of planting the church is to raise a vibrant generation to prosper through God’s power and glorify His name.
The Founder
Peter Ona Amenkhienan
Pastor Peter Amenkhienan is a Continental Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. An international church growth organization represented in 198 countries, with over 35,000 churches across all the continents of the world. He has been overseeing the activities of the Young Adults and Youths in RCCG since 2006. He is a member of the Governing Council and World Advisory Council of RCCG.
He was a chemistry graduate of the University of Benin. He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, with an Honorary Doctorate Award in strategic leadership. He held top management positions in various conglomerate in private sector in Nigeria before answering the call to ministry.
A transformational leader, a Pastor by calling, a dynamic teacher of the word, and a bestselling author of several books, including “Strategic Living” and “Living above Limitations”. Pastor Peter Amenkhienan believes in discipling and mentoring a people of power and praise for God who do great exploits in their generation. He is married to Pastor (Mrs.) Sola Amenkhienan, and they are blessed with four lovely children.
